We are delighted to introduce you to a new ideacity stream of year-round entertainment: the ideacity Concert Series!

Now’s your chance to take in an evening performance by ideacity fan-favourite artists beyond the conference. We’ll be kicking off our first edition of the ideacity Concert Series on November 29, 2019 with the incredible Jill Sobule at our Zoomer Hall home base.

In addition to her well-known hit “I Kissed a Girl”, Jill is a career musician and songwriter, with over a dozen albums to her credit. Her talents have been featured in many movie soundtracks including: Clueless, Harriet the Spy, Natural Born Killers and Dirty Love.

Sobule’s folk-inflected compositions alternate between ironic, story-driven character studies and emotive ballads, which keeps you listening. She uses both satire and personal experience to sing about a range of issues, including sexuality, love, depression, war, shoplifting, mushrooms, and greed.

Jill Sobule first graced ideacity in 2008, and then again in 2019. You won’t want to miss this!
