Toronto Humane Society’s Shrimpy would be the perfect addition to a family of hug-and nap-loving couch potatoes. This boy is so sweet and so affectionate and so … sleepy! He will roll up into your lap, lean against you, and from time-to-time just stare up at you, doing that slow “love u” blink just before he passes out. Naps are a team effort for this guy. Want to settle in with a book? Want to relax on your phone or iPad? Good luck. Once you’re in rest position Shrimpy will take that as a cue for cuddles. Shrimpy is a warmhearted stud muffin looking for a quiet place to settle in and watch TV with his family. (He really does love TV).

Shrimpy has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease. But you think that’s dampened his warm cuddly spirit? Not a chance. Besides, it can be easily managed with a healthy diet, lots of water, medication, and most importantly, a stress-free home. Toronto Humane Society adoption staff will be happy to give you all the details!

His ideal home? Quiet and on the mature side. Children are cool and all. But they might not understand and respect his need for space. He isn’t one for sudden hugs or being picked up every couple minutes! He’s a sleepy bum who likes other sleepy bums. A cozy space with lots of blankets and nap spots would be great.

Shrimpy is a beautiful and loving boy who will be a great partner for play, petting, sleep and TV watching! He’s hanging out with his Toronto Humane Society foster parents right now, but if you want to know more, you can visit his profile here: https://www.torontohumanesociety.com/adopt-a-pet/cats/42715759 or contact Toronto Humane Society adoptions staff at [email protected]torontohumanesociety.com.
