Mr. Meowgi is a gentle giant full of love.

Despite his name, Mr. Meowgi is not a fighter. He may be exceptionally skilled in reading people, but he’s not one to hit anyone – not even strangers. He’s a bit shy around them at first, but he’ll quickly warm up to them if they’re quiet and unassuming. Eventually he’ll lay in the middle of the floor and blink his big, beautiful green eyes at them in hopes of getting some head scratches.

More than anything, Mr. Meowgi loves to share the same space as his humans, so much so that he’s like a little shadow that you never knew you wanted. If you are watching tv, he’ll lay beside you. If you are cooking dinner, he’ll hang out in the kitchen and observe. If you’re using the bathroom, he’ll sit that one out and wait for you patiently on the other side of the door. He really loves relaxing – and watching cat TV when he has the TV to himself.

 

He’s not the biggest cuddler – a quick 5-minute cuddle session is good enough for Mr. Meowgi, but he loves being near and around his people most of the day.

Mr. Meowgi has Feline Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD). This simply means that he requires a special diet and lots of water. This hasn’t been a problem for him so far. He’s a big boy that loves his food and is happy to eat anything you give him.

Speaking of his weight, he’s working on it! He enjoys burning calories every morning and before bed with a good play session. His favourite toy is the wand toy. He’ll run, jump, and twist to catch it. He is determined to get it!

 

Mr. Meowgi doesn’t like loud noises, like the vacuum, or the sound of dishes clanking around when emptying the dish washer. But, again, he’s not a fighter. He’ll hide in his safe spot and come out shortly.

Because Mr. Meowgi is nervous around loud noises, his ideal home would be one without young children. He’s looking for a quiet home with people that will spend some time playing, petting, and providing enrichment for him. In return, he’ll give you loud purrs of contentment and tummy petting privileges. Sounds like a good deal!
