Rob Ford has been knocking on doors.
The Toronto Mayor was going door-to-door Friday evening as he returned to the campaign trail following treatment for a rare form of cancer.
Ford gave up the mayoralty race when he was diagnosed with a malignant abdominal tumour which required chemotherapy, but he signed up as a candidate for council in Ward 2. That`s the Etobicoke ward Ford held for ten years as a City Councillor before becoming mayor.
Ford was allowed to go home from Mt. Sinai Hospital this past week following his first round of chemotherapy. He`s now into an 18-day “washout“ period before further treatment.
