The head of Toronto’s police union says he’s not happy that Pride organizers agreed to a list of demands from the Black Lives Matter group during yesterday’s parade. The group made nine demands — including that police floats be banned from future parades — after its members held a sit-in that stalled the parade for about a half-hour.Union president Mike McCormack says police have supported of Pride for years and that it’s “stupid” to try and exclude them. He was a guest on “Fight Back” on Zoomer Radio and told host Libby Znaimer that Pride organizers need to resolve this issue soon before it causes more hard feelings within the community. Pride organizers say while an official signed the list yesterday, all they have committed to is having a conversation about the
demands.
