A critically acclaimed dark comedy about alien encounters extends its run in Toronto after enjoying sold out performances.”Bright Lights” is a story about an alien support group. Written and directed by Kat Sandler, the show is getting rave reviews. Sandler told The New Classical FM that word of her show caught the attention of one big Hollywood star-Neil Patrick Harris, star of the long-running TV show “How I Met Your Mother” and host of both the Tony and Academy Award TV Broadcasts. He was in town filming a movie and reached out on twitter looking for entertainment suggestions. Toronto actor Colin Munch plays a character named Ross who provides a safe environment for people who believe they’ve been abducted by aliens. “Bright Lights” is presented by the Toronto Fringe Festival at the Toronto Centre for the Arts.
