It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Toronto. The fresh snow serves as the perfect backdrop forThursday’s annual lighting of the giant Eaton Centre Christmas tree.
Tennis star Bianca Andreescu hit the switch on the 200,000 lights on the giant 108 foot tree Thursday evening. This holiday tradition is seen as the unofficial kick of to Toronto’s holiday season. “Our goal is to create memorable and share-worthy experiences for out community,” said Sheila Jennings, General Manager, Toronto Eaton Centre.
And the holiday window display is now open at the Hudson Bay’s flagship store at Queen and Bay. The popular windows this year feature tiny snowmen making snow angels, a candy cane factory and more.
And Toronto’s Christmas Market at the Distillery Market is officially open for the season.
