Premier Doug Ford hinted at positive numbers when the latest pandemic projections are released on Monday. During his daily briefing, Ford said “the results are positive, I’ll never say they’re good or great but were positive for the public sector, but in long term care we do have a challenge.” Ford also says the government can’t and won’t give up on the most vulnerable or the brave men and woman working on the front-lines in long term care facilities, retirement and group homes. He’s promising enhanced wages for those employees following his conference call with the Prime Minister.
