Outings for seniors in some long term care homes are on hold effective Friday as the COVID surge continues.

The province is stopping short-term or temporary absences for personal and social reasons in long term care homes in COVID hotspots Toronto, Peel Region and Ottawa. This means no day trips or overnight visits, but medical and compassionate absences are still allowed.
