Residents and motorists in the west-end of the GTA are being warned to be ready for the second significant snowfall of the week.

Lake enhanced snow is expected to result in upwards of 15 cms (6 inches); especially downtown Toronto, southern Etobicoke, Mississauga, Milton and Oakville, affecting sections of Highways 427, 403 and 407, the Gardiner and QEW.

The steadiest snowfall is expected this evening.

The weather advisory from Environment Canada includes Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Halton Hills and Milton.
