The third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is driving a surge in criticism for some of Canada’s provincial leaders including Ontario’s.

As provinces adjust to rising daily case counts and the logistical challenges of mass inoculation, a new Angus Reid survey finds Canadians increasingly disappointed in their premiers.

Here in Ontario, 65 percent of those polled say Doug Ford is doing a poor job handling the pandemic.

Alberta’s premier ranks the lowest. Seventy-five percent of Albertans say Jason Kenney is doing a poor job.

At least half in Saskatchewan and 59 percent in Manitoba say the same of their provincial leaders.
