Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced Canada has a deal with Pfizer for booster doses the COVID-19 vaccine.
35-million for next year and 30-million for 2023 with the potential for more.
”This deal includes options to add 30-million doses in both 2022 and 2023 and an option for 60-million doses in 2024,” said Trudeau.
Boosters are expected to be important as the virus continues mutating, similar to how the seasonal flu shot is modified each year to ward off the most dominant strain.
