Toronto’s Luminato Festival is moving from June to October because of COVID restrictions in Ontario but no firm date has been released.

Organizers say they’ve rescheduled the 15th anniversary arts event so to safely deliver a powerful program.

It’s the first time the festival has been postponed, last year it was held virtually in June when its revenue dropped from $6.7M in 2019 to $3.8M in 2020.

The arts and culture festival will include original Canadian film and digital experiences from across the Greater Toronto Area  including live music, dance and theatrical performances.
