Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins has died of cancer at the age of 90.
Collins piloted the ship but unlike his crewmates Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, he did not get to walk on the moon in 1969.
In his 1974 autobiography, Collins wrote he’d be lying to say he had the best of the three Apollo 11 seats but added he could
truthfully say he was perfectly satisfied with the one he had.
