While we’re seeing positive trends, Doug Ford says we can’t let up just yet, which is why the Stay-at-Home Order is being extended until at least June 2.
And if current trends continue, that’s also when outdoor recreational amenities like golf and tennis may reopen.
”I understand believe me, the weather’s nice.  Everyone wants to get out,” says the premier.
”I’m a terrible golfer, but I’d love to get out golfing.”
In addition, virtual learning will continue for all public and private school students.
Also starting the week of May 31, children aged 12-17 as well as their family members who have not yet receive a vaccine, will be eligible to book an appointment to get their first Pfizer shot.
Ford also says a ”one-dose summer” as promised by the prime minister is not good enough, adding he’s working toward a two-dose summer.

The province’s top doctor has said he would like to see well below 1,000 daily cases before any restrictions are lifted.

Ontario’s reporting 2,759 new cases.
774 are in Toronto, 602 in Peel Region, and 258 in York.
