Children aged 12 to 15 who live, work or go to school in Peel Region will be able to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment as of 9 a.m. Thursday.
They should be accompanied by a parent, guardian or CAS worker who will provide verbal consent.
”This new vaccine coverage for a new age cohort in Peel Region is welcome news,” according to Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.

”The more people we get vaccinated the sooner we are going to get back to normal.”
Appointments will be available through the seven mass immunization clinics throughout Peel.
The Ford government has said it’ll be making those aged 12-17 eligible to book a shot on May 31.
There will be specially dedicated youth vaccine clinics the weeks of June 14 and 21.
