The International Olympic Committee has agree to a request to reschedule the women’s gold medal soccer final.

The I.O.C. now says the game will start Friday evening at 9 pm in Yokohama, Japan which is 8 a.m. (EDT) tomorrow morning.

Both Canada and Sweden had asked for an earlier start time to avoid the 40 degree plus heat in Tokyo in the afternoon.

The game was scheduled to start at ten o’clock tonight (EDT) which is 11 a.m. in Tokyo when the temperature is forecast to be 34 C with the humidity making it feel like the low 40s.
