TIFF organizers have announced proof of vaccination will not be required for anyone attending the festival next month.

However, they say masks will be required for anyone attending in person screenings. Everyone attending in-person events will need to be tested every 48 hours.

Reporters covering red carpet events will also need to provide proof of a negative test every 48 hours.

People arriving from out of the country will also have to be tested within 72 hours of arrival.

TIFF runs from September 9th to the 18th and thousands of media and people from the entertainment industry are expected to be in the city.
