He was a revered American jazz guitarist who mastered his instrument twice.
Pat Martino, who lost his memory after an operation for a brain aneurysm and had to relearn everything including his name, has died at his home in Philadelphia.
His manager confirmed the cause of death as the chronic respiratory disorder that forced him to retire in 2018.
Martino received four Grammy nominations, including one for his 2003 album “Think Tank.”
