Federal Conservative leader Erin O’toole unveiled his party’s shadow cabinet today on Parliament Hill.
The announcement comes as Parliament is set to resume on November 22.
Pierre Polievre is back as the party’s finance critic. O’Toole has removed the outspoken Poilievre in the lead-up to September’s election.
“I see the Liberals quiver when he rises to his feet,” O’Toole said when asked about his decision to return Poilievre to the post.
Candice Bergen remains as deputy leader. She was appointed to the role in September, 2020. Prior to that, she had been opposition house leader from 2016-2020.
The House of Commons is scheduled to sit for four weeks before rising for a break for the holidays.
