Canadian music legend Neil Young turns 76 today, November 12th, 2021.
Born Neil Percival Young, he embarked on his musical career in Canada back in the 1960s, moved to Los Angeles when he joined Stephen Stills in Buffalo Springfield and has since worked as a solo act with his band Crazy Horse, and as a member of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
He’s also a prolific songwriter, has released a number of critically acclaimed albums, is a Grammy and Juno Award winner, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a member of the Order of Canada.
