Just before one o’clock Friday morning, should the skies be clear enough, residents across southern Ontario will be able to witness a partial eclipse of the moon.
It’s expected to last for about 6 hours.
During this particular eclipse, the Earth’s shadow will cover parts of the Moon. Watching it from our area will be as good as it gets. The experts say there are no locations on Earth where the Moon will appear completely covered during this event.
The next total lunar eclipse will be on May 15th and 16th next year.
