SCHOOL RELATED CANCELLATIONS, DETAILS ON SWITCH TO ONLINE LEARNING, FOR MONDAY JANUARY 17TH

Due to inclement weather, transportation services with the York Region District School Board are cancelled and all schools and board locations are closed to students today, January 17, 2022.

Given the significant snowfall, Toronto District School Board has made the decision to cancel school busses and close all TDSB schools to in-person learning for today. All schools will be moving to remote learning.

Toronto Catholic District School Board: Due to the weather, all school bus transportation has been cancelled & schools are closed for in-person learning today. Staff & students will continue to remain engaged in remote learning at home.

All Peel District School Board schools and buildings are closed today. All buses are cancelled. Closure of all schools means cancellation of all activities in schools, including childcare, night school and permits. NO CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN PERSON OR ONLINE.

All Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board schools and facilities are closed to staff and students today due to inclement weather. Schools will switch to remote learning for the day.

In Durham region, buses are cancelled in all zones. All elementary schools remain open. Secondary students will switch to virtual learning.

All Halton District and Halton Catholic District Schools are administrative centres are closed and transportation services are cancelled in Zones 1,2 & 3.

Please be advised that, due to inclement weather, busing and school transportation is cancelled on Monday January 17th for all of the STSCO jurisdiction, including Peterborough, Northumberland, including Murray Centennial and Stockdale PS, and Clarington areas.
Schools will remain open but STSCO busing is cancelled for those KPR, PVNC and Mon. Jamot schools served by STSCO. Posted at 5:20 a.m.
