The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum says anti-vax activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. made deeply offensive comments when suggesting things are worse for people today than they were for Anne Frank.
During a weekend rally in Washington, Kennedy complained people’s rights were being violated by public health measures.
“Even in Hitler’s Germany, you could cross the Alps into Switzerland, you could hide in an attic like Anne Frank did,” Kennedy told the crowd.
Anne Frank died in a Nazi concentration camp after hiding with her family in Amsterdam for two years.
