He was just 9-years old when he brought “Peanuts” character Charlie Brown to life in the 1965 film “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
Peter Robbins, the original voice of the cartoon character, has died.
Robbins struggled with bi-polar disorder later in life and and served some time in prison.
At at the height of his career, he narrated at least six other television and movie productions, including “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “You re in Love, Charlie Brown.”
He also appeared in episodes of “Rawhide,” “The Munsters,” “Get Smart”and “My Three Sons.”
Peter Robbins was 65.
