The Toronto Zoo is out with a new master plan designed to attract more patrons of a certain age including fans of classical music.
Beginning next month, the Zoo is going to work with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra on an hour long musical interpretation of the zoo which will be streamed online.
City councillor Paul Ainslee who chairs the zoo’s management board says they’re trying to draw more interest from the crowd that attended the zoo as children, but haven’t been back since they had children themselves.
Among the plans are a craft brewery, a boutique hotel and the construction of yurts to accommodate over night stays.
