Ukraine’s Orchestra is now silent after members were forced to flee their country.
Among the musicians is 20 year old Myroslava Sherbina whose violin was so beloved, it was the only item she took as she fled.
“I haven’t play my violin since before the war started, because I want to be able to hear the sirens, I want to feel safe to I can practice,” said Sherbina speaking at a train station in Hungary.
She’s one of dozens of fleeing musicians with the Orchestra.
More than 1.7 million people have fled Ukraine in Europe’s fastest-growing refugee crisis since World War II.
