MUSIC WORLD BIDS GOODBYE TO BORIS BROTT

The well loved maestro was laid to rest in Hamilton yesterday.

 

A small chamber orchestra played before a congregation of family, friends and collaborators of the maestro who was killed in a tragic hit and run accident last Tuesday at the age of 78.

Hamilton Mayor Fred Eisenberger described the world renowned conductor as “a man of the people.”

Brott’s passing has been widely felt in the classical music community and at the Zoomerplex, home to the New Classical FM.

A 33-year old man is facing a number of charges in connection with Brott’s death.
