An unnamed government source is quoted by The Canadian Press as saying these soldiers will assist with the care and coordination of Ukrainian refugees in Poland and will also help Ukrainians leave Poland for other destinations.

The Trudeau Liberals say they have prioritized immigration applications from Ukraine and created a special program that lets Ukrainian citizens and their families come to Canada to work or study for three years.
