Remember this big hit from 1989?
The B-52’s have announced a farewell tour.
The beloved Georgia band has a run of U.S. dates between August and November.
It wraps up in Atlanta, with the Tubes and KC & The Sunshine Band taking support slots along the way.
In the fall of 2019, band member Fred Schneider said the B-52’s would not do any more tours, but that they’d still make occasional festival appearances.
The band’s most recent album is 2008’s Funplex, which arrived 16 years after 1992’s Good Stuff.
