The teenage son of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has received a death threat and bullet in the mail – the second such warning this week.
Bennett has been facing harsh criticism from Israel’s hard-line right wing since forming his governing coalition last year, after four inconclusive elections.
Critics accuse Bennett, who leads a small, religious nationalist party, of abandoning core hard-line beliefs.
In a speech Wednesday on the eve of Israel’s Holocaust memorial day, Bennett urged the country to put aside its differences.
It came the day after his family received a bullet in the mail for the first time.
Bennett is a former top aide to predecessor Benjamin Netanyahu.
His 17-year-old son Yoni is named after Netanyahu’s older brother, who was killed the the 1976 Israeli commando raid while rescuing a hijacked airplane in Uganda.
