Tens of thousands of homes and businesses across southern Ontario and Quebec are still in the dark this morning following widespread storm-caused power outages.
Ontario’s Hydro One announced last night that crews had restored power to 360-thousand customers, but as of early Monday morning, outages were still affecting more than 200-thousand customers.
Meantime, Hydro Ottawa reported more than 164-thousand customers were still without power.
Across the provincial border, Hydro-Quebec had nearly 14-hundred-50 outages affecting more than 234-thousand customers.
Officials say the storm also cost nine people their lives
