Ray Liotta has died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic where the 67-year-old actor was filming the movie ”Dangerous Waters.”
His publicist says he didn’t wake up this morning.
He was best known for playing real life mobster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s ”Goodfellas” and the ghost of major league ball player Shoeless Joe Jackson in ”Field of Dreams.”
Liotta recently appeared in the Sopranos prequel movie ”The Many Saints of Newark” and the series ”Hanna.”
In an interview last November he said for some reason he’d been busier than in all the years he’d been acting.
”And I still feel I’m not there yet. I just think there’s a lot more.”
