Beginning Canada Day, anyone going to catch a show at any of the Mirvish theatres will no longer be required to wear a mask.
But the company does recommend for everyone’s safety that they continue wearing one when at the Princess of Wales Theatre, the Royal Alexandra Theatre, the CAA Theatre or the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre.
For complete details of the Mirvish safety protocols visit here.
The new mask protocols are also in keeping with mandates at Massey Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, the Stratford Festival and Shaw Festival.
In New York , the Broadway League has also announced that as of next month, masks will no longer be required to attend shows at any of its theatres.
