There is a bit of a treat coming this week for fans of Canadian Music Legend Neil Young and British Music Legend Sir Elton John.

“Regimental Sgt. Zippo,” is a 12-track album that the then-unknown Reginald Dwight recorded in 1968 at age 19 with lyricist Bernie Taupin.

It was shelved but for a limited release on last year’s Record Store Day but now it will be available on LP, CD and streaming.

On Friday, Neil Young opens more of his vault and is releasing the shelved Crazy Horse album “Toast.” It was recorded in 2001 at Toast Studios in San Francisco. Last year Neil said “Toast” was so sad that he couldn’t put it out. The material explores a broken relationship.
