The Women’s Canadian Open Golf Tournament begins today in Ottawa.
There are 18 Canadians in the field, including 24-year old Brooke Henderson from Smith’s Falls, Ontario.
Also among the field, the youngest player ever to qualify, 12-year old Vancouver native, Lucy Lin.
At 57, P.E.I.’s Lori Kane will compete in her final Canadian Open.
Kane began her career on the LPGA Tour in 1996. She has four career victories and 99 top-10 finishes on the tour, In 2000 she and won the Bobbie Rosenfeld Award and in 2006 became a member of the Order of Canada
