It being the DL-44 Heavy Blaster that Harrison Ford (AKA Han Solo to Star Wars fans) used in a galaxy far, far away.

It has sold at auction in Rhode Island for just over one million dollars.

The weapon was originally a Mauser hand gun that Industrial Light and Magic converted to a non-firing weapon for blanks only.

The blaster is also the last surviving example of the three models that were made for the movie.

It was expected to go for around $500,000.
