Renowned jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis has died.
Ramsey’s 60-year career began with the release of the album “The In Crowd” with Ramsey Lewis Trio on 1965.
He also had hits with “Hang on Sloopy” and “Wade in the Water.”
He earned three Grammy awards and seven gold records during his career.
Ramsey Lewis died Monday at his home in Chicago.
He was 87.
