Soccer fans the world over will certainly remember this from the 1986 World Cup Quarter final between England and Argentina
That picture is of Argentinian soccer star Diego Maradona scoring what came to be known as the “Hand of God” goal after he admitted it was scored with a “little of the head of Maradona and a little with the hand of God.”
Now, the match ball is going to auction and is expected to command upwards of of $4.5 million CAD.
Prospective buyers can register their bids online beginning October 28th. The ball will actually be sold November 16th by Graham Budd Auctions as part of a World Cup special event.
