She was once the highest paid woman in popular music.

Over her career she earned 11 Grammy Awards, had a killer run on Broadway and put mariachi music on the charts.

One thing she wasn’t quite as well known for was her cooking even though one of her grandfathers invented the electric stove and the other was a master of meat and mesquite.

Now at 76, Linda Ronstadt has ventured into publishing with a cookbook called “Feels Like Home”

In 2013 Ronstadt announced that she had a form of Parkinson’s disease that had ended her singing career.

And one notable thing about Linda’s cookbook has four pages dedicated to peanut butter and jam sandwiches which she says were a mainstay when she toured with Canada’s Neil Young back in the 1970s.
