Critical infrastructure in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and other Ukrainian cities has been damaged by an onslaught of Russian airstrikes.
In what appears to be reprisal for what Moscow claimed was a Ukrainian attack on its Black Sea Fleet over the weekend, the attacks on Monday morning disrupted water and power supply.
Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kiev, stated that 80% of the city’s residents were left without access to water and that local authorities are attempting to quickly restore the supply.
In the most recent manifestation of solidarity from European leaders for Ukraine, the attacks took place just before the prime minister of the Czech Republic and many important members of his administration arrived in Kyiv.
