Amazon is returning to the virtual care space with a new service that uses secure messaging to connect patients with doctors in the U.S. for treatment of nearly two dozen conditions.

Amazon Clinic, which will provide medication refills and care for conditions such as allergies, erectile dysfunction, hair loss, and urinary tract infections, will be launched in 32 states on Tuesday.

This list excludes the flu, COVID-19, ear infections, and other urgent care conditions for which patients frequently seek help via telemedicine.

Amazon stated that it will work to add more conditions to the service, which will not accept insurance, over time.
