Neil Young’s concerns about the environment go back half a century when he wrote “Look at Mother Nature on the run in the 1970s” on his album “After the Gold Rush.”

Now, the Canadian music legend says he will no longer tour unless the venues are clean.

Last year, Neil said he was holding off on touring behind his latest album because he didn’t want to put people in danger, thinking every thing okay when it’s not.

He’s still concerned about spreading COVID 19 but now his issue is eating sustainably which he says can be difficult when touring.

At the heart of this latest issue is factory farming which he’s been against for years.

One of Neil’s final live performances to date was at the 2019 edition of Farm Aid.
