Former Disney CEO Bob Iger, at 71, is returning to head the company he retired from two years ago.
Disney posted lower than expected earnings in the last quarter after Iger’s successor, Bob Chapek (above right), cut costs, took a blunt approach to talent, raised prices at Disney theme parks and got himself fired.
Iger says he’s thrilled to be returning to Disney and extremely optimistic about the company’s future.
