Back in 1964, they sang about coin of the realm with their recording of “Money.”
Now the Rolling Stones can say they are coin of the realm.
The legendary British band is the face of a new collectible coin issued by the U.K. Royal Mint to celebrate the band’s 60th anniversary.
The 5-pound coin features a silhouette of the iconic band performing as well as the band’s name in what is described as their classic 1973 font.
Making this even more special, this was one of the last coins to be released bearing the image of Queen Elizabeth, who died in September at the age of 96.
