He was child star at 15 and then went on to star in the 1979 movie “Salem’s Lot.”

Lance Kerwin was a teenager when he played the lead in the TV drama “James at 15.” He then played a vampire hunter in both the movie and mini series based on the Stephen Kings novel.

Kerwin has died at his home in California. His daughter Savanah, says the cause will be confirmed by an autopsy.

Lance Kerwin was just 62.
