He’s now 78 and life long Tory and he’s telling Great Britain’s Conservative government to stand down.
Sir Rod Stewart wants his party of choice to let Labour have a go..
During an impromptu phone-in to Sky News, Stewart called the state of Britain’s National Health Service “heart-breaking” and since he’s never seen the country “so bad,” he says it’s “time to change the bloody government.”
The Labour Party welcomed his spontaneous call for political change with one Labour source telling the BBC, the party, which is led by Sir Keir Starmer, is finally giving the whole country a “reason to believe,” referencing one of Sir Rod’s biggest hits.
The Conservative Government says it’s not commenting.
