The province will spend $2.2-million over two-years on pilot projects at one Toronto hospital and another in Barrie to provide faster, convenient access to diagnostic services for nursing home residents.

”Expanded services will include increased access to key diagnostic services, like x-rays and ultrasounds and support for long-term care residents so they can receive these services, conveniently and quickly,” Long-Term Care Minister Paul Calandra announced at Humber River Hospital.
