The movie at the centre of that “Best Picture” shemozzle at the Oscars in 2017 is being made into a Broadway musical.

Warren Beatty named  “La La Land’ best picture before it was correctly awarded to “Moonlight.”

The film starred Canada’s Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and won 6 Oscars including best actress for Stone and best director for Damien Chazelle.

Justin Hurwitz, who wrote the music for “La La Land” will compose the stage score and reunite with the movie’s lyricists.

Playwright Ayad Akhtar and theatre director Matthew Decker are co-writing the book.
