Raquel Welch has died at the age of 82.
The iconic 1960’s sex symbol died after a brief unknown illness.
Welch first rose to fame for her back-to-back roles in One Million Years B.C and Fantastic Voyage — both in 1966.
She soon catapulted to sex symbol status to become one of the most sought-after female stars throughout the ’60s and ’70s taking home plenty of hardware in the process, including a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her 1975 role in “The Three Musketeers.”
Her last movie role was in 2017’s “How to Be a Latin Lover.” Her final TV credit was also that year, “Date My Dad.”
She was married four times and has two children.
